Must the usurper return the item to the specific location where the owner demands it be returned?

Book of Usurpation
Primary text
If the owner requests that the item be left in the location to which the usurper moved it, the usurper is not bound to comply, as the owner has waived a right that is extinguished even if the waiver is not formally accepted, akin to forgiving a debt. If the owner requests the item be returned halfway along the required route, the usurper must comply, as the full distance is obligatory, making partial compliance required, and the remainder waived.
