Is the person who vowed to walk or ride to the Sacred House given a choice between walking or riding?

When the obligation of arrival is established, the person is given the choice between walking or riding, as both fulfill the intention of arrival. This choice also applies if one vows to perform Hajj or visit the House, as Hajj is achieved by either action, thus neither means is uniquely determined.
