If the *ghusl* is stipulated for the end of 'iddah, what is the effect of failing to perform it?

If the ritual bathing (*ghusl*) is stipulated as the condition for concluding the waiting period, the failure to perform it invalidates the permission for the husband to take her back (*ruj'a*) and prohibits other men from marrying her. However, concerning all other rulings, the 'iddah concludes upon the cessation of her bleeding.
