If a man secludes with a woman who is too young to be physically approached, or if the man is blind and unaware of her presence, the *Iddah* is not obligatory upon her, and her *Mahr* is not completed. This is because the presumption of intercourse (*madhannah*) is not realized when the impossibility of physical contact is evident.
