Primary text

A Bedouin woman (*badawiyyah*) is treated the same as an urban woman (*hadariyyah*) concerning the requirement to observe her Iddah in the house where her husband died while she resided. If the encampment (*hullah*) moves, she must move with them, as she cannot remain alone. If others from the encampment move but her own family remains, she must stay with her family. If her family moves, she moves with them, unless there remain individuals in the encampment whom she does not fear harm with, in which case she has the choice between staying or leaving. If her family flees and she fears for herself, she must flee with them. If she is safe, she remains to complete the Iddah in her dwelling.
