Primary text
When a husband divorces his wife with a revocable divorce (talaq raj'i), takes her back during her waiting period (iddah), and has intercourse with her, the first waiting period is terminated because the effect of the divorce is nullified. A new waiting period commences from the second divorce because it is a divorce following a marriage that included consummation.
