Primary text

If a woman undergoes Khul' while pregnant, remarries while pregnant, and is then divorced while pregnant, her Iddah concludes upon the delivery of the baby, according to both reported opinions. Her Iddah does not conclude before delivery under any known ruling. Furthermore, if she delivers the child before the second marriage, she owes no Iddah for the second divorce, as she entered the second marriage after completing the Iddah from the first separation.

Supporting text

If delivery occurs after the second marriage but before the second divorce, the school holding that a new Iddah is required mandates three full menstrual cycles or months after the second divorce. The school holding that a new Iddah is not required imposes no Iddah in this specific instance, as the first Iddah concluded with the birth, given that a pregnant woman's Iddah cannot end except by giving birth.
