What is the ruling if a man divorces his wife after consummation, and then remarries her, and then divorces her again?

If a man divorces his wife after consummation and subsequently remarries her and then divorces her again, a new, complete Iddah is incumbent upon her from the second divorce. The first Iddah is considered terminated and has passed, imposing no residual obligation.
