Primary text

If a eunuch husband divorces or dies leaving a wife who gives birth, the child's lineage is not attributed to him, and her Iddah is not terminated by the delivery. The Iddah due to the coitus is terminated by the delivery, after which she must commence a new Iddah for the divorce or death, as previously established.

The view of Al-Qadi suggests that, based on a narration from Ahmad, the child might be attributed to the eunuch because ejaculation through stimulation is conceivable. In this case, the child would be attributed and the Iddah terminated. However, the correct position is that the child is not attributed, similar to a minor under ten years old, as this occurrence is not customary.
