Primary text
If a woman menstruates three times and then gives birth six months after the completion of her waiting period, the birth is attributed to a new event occurring after the waiting period has been duly completed. Her initial observance of the three periods and subsequent waiting period are ruled valid, and the child is considered a later occurrence.
