Are the rulings regarding Iddah and residency the same for a female slave as for a free woman?

Book of Waiting Periods ('Iddah)
Primary text
A female slave is treated like a free woman regarding the mourning period and residing in the designated house. However, her residency during the Iddah period is contingent upon her status during her husband's life. If her master chooses, he may detain her during the day and send her out at night. If the master sends her out both day and night, she completes her entire Iddah period within the house. The heirs are obligated to provide her accommodation there during both day and night, just as they would for a free woman.
