What is the waiting period ('Iddah) for a woman pregnant by her husband?

The waiting period for every pregnant woman whose husband separates from her by divorce, annulment, or death is until she delivers the pregnancy, even if delivery occurs immediately afterward. This applies to free or enslaved women, Muslim or non-Muslim. The legal evidence is the verse: {And for those who are pregnant, their appointed term is when they deliver their burden} (Quran 65:4).
