Primary text
If the slave is re-enslaved and then freed again, there are several possibilities regarding who holds the *Walaa*. It is suggested that it belongs to the second manumitter because when two judgments conflict, the latter one prevails, analogous to abrogating and abrogated rulings.

Another possibility is that the *Walaa* belongs to the first manumitter because his right was established while the slave was protected (*Ma'sum*), and this right should not be removed by hostile seizure, similar to the essence of true ownership. A third possibility is that the *Walaa* is shared between them, and whoever dies first, the survivor inherits. If the re-enslavement is deemed invalid because it violates the previous *Walaa*, then the first manumitter retains it.
