What is the ruling concerning a *Dhimmi*'s slave who flees to *Dar al-Harb*, becomes enslaved, and is subsequently freed?

If a *Dhimmi* frees an infidel slave (*Kafir*), and that slave flees to *Dar al-Harb* and is subsequently enslaved, the ruling is the same as if a *Harbi* had freed him.
