Is it permissible to eat from the top or peak of a Tharid dish?

One must not eat from the peak (dhirwah) of the Tharid dish. The Prophet, peace be upon him, stated: 'If one of you eats food, let him not eat from the top of the dish, but let him eat from the bottom of it, for the blessing descends from its top.' Another narration states: 'Eat from its sides, and leave its peak, and it will be blessed therein.' Both narrations are reported by Ibn Majah.
