Is it permissible to eat while leaning or reclining (mutakki'an)?

Eating while leaning or reclining is disliked (*makruh*). This is based on the narration of Abu Juhayfah that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, stated: 'I do not eat while reclining,' as narrated by Al-Bukhari.
