Is it permissible for a wedding banquet (Walima) to last for more than one day?

It is permissible for a wedding banquet to be prepared for more than one day. Evidence is found in the narration by Al-Khall, through his chain of narration from Abu, that he held his wedding feast and invited the Ansar for eight days. This practice is thus permissible.
