What is the ruling if the husband finishes before his wife during intercourse?

If the husband finishes before his wife, it is disliked (*yukrah*) for him to withdraw until she also finishes. This is narrated from Anas ibn Malik, who said the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, commanded: 'When a man has intercourse with his spouse, he should be truthful (i.e., sincere/thorough), then when he has fulfilled his need, he should not rush her until she fulfills her need.' This is also because withdrawing prematurely causes harm to her and prevents her from fulfilling her desire.
