What is the ruling if the husband intends permanent residence, even if brief?

If the husband resolves to settle permanently, he must fulfill his obligations to all wives for the duration of his stay, even if it is short, because he has exited the ruling of travel. If he subsequently travels to his hometown or another city, he does not have to account for the time spent traveling, as this is considered part of the single journey for which the lot was already cast.
