Primary text

If a replacement tooth grows back crookedly or altered from its original form, a *hukuma* (governor's assessment of compensation) is due. This is because the missing part, however small, represents a defect relative to the full tooth, thus the compensation is calculated proportionally, such as one-third of the Diyah for one-third of the tooth's defect. If the bleeding continues after the removal, *hukuma* is also due due to the resultant harm caused by the action.
