Aggression (Janaayah) is defined as every act of aggression against a person or property. However, in common usage, it is specifically restricted to aggression against bodies. Aggressions against property are termed usurpation (ghasb), robbery (nahb), theft (sariqah), treachery (khiyaanah), and destruction (itlaaf).
