When a group jointly inflicts a wound that warrants Qisas, Qisas is incumbent upon all of them. This is the view held by Malik, Al-Shafi'i, Ishaq, and Abu Thawr.

Supporting text

Al-Hasan, Al-Zuhri, Al-Thawri, the Ashab Al-Ra'y, and Ibn Al-Mundhir hold that two hands cannot be severed by one act causing the cutting of one hand. There is a narration from Ahmad suggesting that a group is not executed for the act of one individual concerning limbs.
