It is permissible to take two amputated fingers from the hand missing two fingers in exchange for the single amputated finger from the hand missing only one finger.

There are two differing opinions regarding whether the individual whose hand had two fingers removed is entitled to compensation (Arsh) for the extra finger lost in the exchange.
