Primary text

If the severed finger has two ends, one being an excess and the other the original part, and the severer's finger also has two ends, the injured party shall take retaliation (Qisas) using the severed finger. If the severer's finger does not have two ends, then the excess part is cut off, and the perpetrator owes a monetary compensation (hukuma) for the excessive part.
