What is the ruling regarding compensation if only part of an ear is severed and successfully reattached?

Malik states that there is no blood money (Diyya) if the ear returns to its place. Furthermore, if only a part of the ear is severed and then reattached, the injured party is entitled only to the proportional compensation (Arsh) for the wound, and Qisas is not applicable.
