What is the ruling when two healthy hands are amputated, and the injury spreads leading to death?

If two separate individuals amputate two healthy hands, and subsequently the resulting injury spreads and causes the victim's death, the victim's guardian does not have the option to pardon the act in exchange for blood money because the value equivalent to the total blood money has already been executed via the amputation of both hands.
