Is the concept of Usury (Riba) applicable when determining the equivalence of Zakat payments?

Usury (Riba) is not applicable in this context because the payment constitutes a right due to Allah. There is no usury between a servant and his Master. Furthermore, proportionality based on usury standards is considered only in direct financial exchanges (Mu'awadat); the purpose of Zakat is facilitating welfare (Muwasah), enriching the needy, and expressing gratitude for Allah's bounty, which precludes the application of Riba principles.
