It is impermissible to give Zakah to one's own descendants, regardless of how low their lineage descends (children, grandchildren, or children of daughters). Imam Ahmad explicitly stated that Zakah cannot be given to one's children, grandchildren, or ascendants (grandparents). This prohibition is established because the descendant is a direct part of the lineage. Evidence is cited from the Prophet's (PBUH) statement regarding Al-Hasan, 'Verily, this son of mine is a master,' demonstrating the close relationship akin to an heir, creating a partial and inherent kinship.
