What is the ruling if commercial goods are exchanged for livestock (*sa'imah*) without the intention of trade?

If trade goods are exchanged for livestock (*sa'imah*) on which Zakat is due on its essence, and there is no intention of trade, the *hawl* of neither asset builds upon the other because they are dissimilar assets.
