If a slave designated for trade commits an injury resulting in *Arsh*, that liability attaches to the slave's person, preventing the obligation of Zakah on the slave if the *Arsh* value causes the total assets to fall below the *Nisab* (minimum threshold). If the *Arsh* value does not reduce the total below *Nisab*, Zakah is only exempted on the portion corresponding to the *Arsh* amount.
