What types of gold, silver, and jewel ornaments are permissible for women to wear?

Women are permitted all gold, silver, and jewel ornaments customary for them to wear, such as bracelets, anklets, earrings, rings, and items worn on the face, neck, hands, legs, and ears. Ornamentation that is not customary, such as a belt (*mantiqah*) or similar items worn by men, is prohibited for women. Such permitted ornaments are exempt from Zakah if kept for use, as they are diverted from growth to permissible use, resembling common clothing or working animals.
