When Zakat funds consist of a single type of asset, is it permissible to pay with the poor quality portion?

When the asset subject to Zakat is of a single type, the payment must include both the good and the poor quality portions. This ruling is based on the principle that the right of the poor is established through mutual sharing (muwasah), treating them as partners. There is no known disagreement on this principle.
