When is the obligation time (waqt) for expiation considered to begin for different types of expiations, assuming the determining factor is the time of obligation?

Primary text
If the criterion is the time of obligation, the stipulated time for Zihar (a form of divorce) is the time of returning to the wife, not the time of the act of Zihar itself, because the expiation only becomes due upon return. For an oath, the time is the moment of breach, not the moment the oath was taken. For manslaughter, the time is when the soul departs, not when the wound was inflicted. Preceding the expiation before its due time constitutes hastening its fulfillment after the cause for its obligation exists, similar to advancing Zakah payment after the requisite threshold (Nisab) is met but before the full year has passed.
