What is the ruling when a man repeatedly commits Zihar against the same wife without offering expiation in between?
General Chapter
Al-Mughni
Book of Zihar
Primary text
If a man repeatedly issues the oath of Zihar against his wife and does not offer expiation after each instance, only a single expiation is required. This is because the breaking of the oath (Hanith) is considered singular in this scenario, thus necessitating only one expiation, just as if the initial oath itself had been singular.
