The Dressing Of Rasoolullah
باب ما جاء في لباس رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم
Hadith 8:9
Sahih (Zubair `Aliza'i)
Abu Juhayfah (R.A) says, "I saw Rasulullah (S.A.W) wearing a pair of red (coloured) clothing. The lustre of the feet of Rasulullah (S.A.W) is still before me." Sufyaan (R.A) who is a narrator of this hadith says:
"According to my understanding the pair (of clothing) was printed red."
حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلانَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَوْنِ بْنِ أَبِي جُحَيْفَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم، وَعَلَيْهِ حُلَّةٌ حَمْرَاءُ، كَأَنِّي أَنْظُرُ إِلَى بَرِيقِ سَاقَيْهِ
