Hadith 3:15
Ibn ‘Abbas (RAA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
“Wear white clothes, for they are (considered as) your best clothes, and enshroud your dead in them.” Related by the five Imams, except for An-Nasa’i, and At-Tirmidhi reported it to be sound.
وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا أَنَّ اَلنَّبِيَّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -قَالَ: { الْبَسُوا مِنْ ثِيَابِكُمُ الْبَيَاضَ, فَإِنَّهَا مِنْ خَيْرِ ثِيَابِكُمْ, وَكَفِّنُوا فِيهَا مَوْتَاكُمْ } رَوَاهُ اَلْخَمْسَةُ إِلَّا النَّسَائِيَّ, وَصَحَّحَهُ اَلتِّرْمِذِيُّ
