Hadith 8:219
Narrated al-Bara bin 'Azib (RA):
The Prophet (ﷺ) gave a ruling regarding Hamza's daughter in favor of her maternal aunt, saying, "The maternal aunt is in the position of the mother." [al-Bukhari reported it].
وَعَنْ اَلْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبِ رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا; { أَنَّ اَلنَّبِيَّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -قَضَى فِي اِبْنَةِ حَمْزَةَ لِخَالَتِهَا, وَقَالَ: اَلْخَالَةُ بِمَنْزِلَةِ اَلْأُمِّ. } أَخْرَجَهُ اَلْبُخَارِيُّ
