Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 2:100

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Waki’ narrated to us, from Ali ibn al-Mubarak al-Hana’i, from al-Hasan al-‘Abdi, who said: I saw Abu Zayd, a companion of the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace), and his leg had been injured in the way of Allah, calling the adhan while he was sitting.
