Waki’ narrated to us, from Ja’far ibn Burqan, from Shaddad, the freed slave of ‘Iyad ibn ‘Amir, from Bilal, that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Do not call the adhan until the dawn is seen like this," and he extended his hands.
