Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 2:140

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abd al-Aziz ibn Muhammad al-Darawardi narrated to us, from the nephew of al-Zuhri, from his uncle, from Muhammad ibn Jubayr, that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, would not perform the adhan for any of the prayers while traveling, except for the iqamah, except for the morning prayer, for he would perform the adhan and the iqamah.
