Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 2:184

Dāwūd narrated to us, from Muḥammad ibn Sulaym, from Qatādah, from Saʿīd ibn al-Musayyib, regarding the people who arrive at the mosque when it has already been prayed in: He said, "They call the adhān and they perform the iqāmah." And Qatādah said, "Nothing comes to you from the testimony that there is no god but God and that Muḥammad is the Messenger of God except good."
