Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 2:186

Ibn ‘Ulayyah narrated to us, from Yunus, from al-Hasan, regarding a man who arrives at the mosque when [the people] have already prayed in it: He said, "He does not give the adhan, nor does he give the iqamah."
