Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ibn Mahdi narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Jabir, who said: I asked about a man who intended to give the Adhan, but instead he performed the Iqamah. He said: "He repeats it." And Sufyan said: "He makes it an Adhan and then performs the Iqamah."
