Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 2:23

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Mu'tamir ibn Sulayman narrated to us, from his father, from Shu'ayb, from Abu al-'Aliyah, who said: "When you make it (the call to prayer) an iqamah, then double it."
