Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 2:98

Narrated to us 'Abdah, from 'Ubayd Allah ibn 'Umar, from Nafi', from Ibn 'Umar, that he used to perform the Adhan while upon a camel. Then he would descend and perform the Iqamah.
