Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 32:8

'Abd al-Rahim ibn Sulayman narrated to us, from Dawud, from Abu 'Uthman, from Salman, who said: Allah created one hundred mercies, and He placed one mercy among the creatures. Each mercy is greater than what is between the heaven and the earth. Through it, a mother shows affection to her child, and through it, birds and wild animals drink water. When the Day of Resurrection comes, Allah will withdraw it from the creatures and add it to the ninety-nine for the God-fearing. That is His saying: "And My mercy encompasses all things, so I shall decree it for those who fear Me."
