Ibn Fudayl narrated to us, from Abu Uthman, from Hammad, who said: I said to Ibrahim, "Indeed, Al-Layth comes from the direction of Qutaybah, and in it is falsehood and lying. So if I want to narrate to my companion, should I do so?" He said, "No, rather remain silent."
