Hadith 24:131

Sharik narrated to us, from Abu al-Juwayriyah al-Jarmi, who said: I was among those who went to the people of al-Sham on the day of al-Hadhir. We met them, and the wind blew against them, so they turned back. We killed them throughout our evening and our night until we reached the morning. He said: Ibrahim—meaning Ibn al-Ashtar—said: "I killed a man last night, and I found a pleasant scent coming from him. I do not think it was anyone but Ibn Marjanah. His feet were toward the east and his head toward the west, or his head was toward the east and his feet toward the west." He said: So I went, and by Allah, it was indeed him.
