Hadith 24:14
Ubayd Allah narrated to us, he said: Isra'il informed us, from Abu Ishaq, from al-Aswad, who said: I said to Aisha, "A man from the Tulaqa' (those freed at the conquest of Mecca) is being pledged allegiance to," meaning Mu'awiya. She said, "O my son, do not be amazed. It is the dominion of Allah; He gives it to whom He wills."
حدثنا عبيد الله قال أخبرنا إسرائيل عن أبي إسحاق عن الأسود قال قلت لعائشة إن رجلا من الطلقاء يبايع له يعني معاوية قالت يا بني لا تعجب هو ملك الله يؤتيه من يشاء
