Hadith 24:18
Waki’ narrated to us, from Isma’il bin Abi Khalid, from Qays, who said: I heard Mu’awiyah during his illness in which he died, uncovering his forearms as if they were two palm branches, and he was saying: "By Allah, I wish I had not known you for more than three [days]." They said: "To the mercy of Allah and His forgiveness." He said: "Whatever Allah wills to do, even if others dislike it." And Ibn Bishr added to it: "Is the world anything but what we have known or experienced?"
